Design ethos

A home should be joyful as you move through its spaces, with an energy that’s more than the sum of its parts. We think about space in three dimensions – thresholds, volumes and voids, and orchestrate these elements to expand and contract space, to amplify a room, to dramatically frame a view, or to simply distinguish between the private and public domains.

We integrate light and landscape, connecting indoors to out in celebration of our climate, and we lean into a natural palette of materials, textures and tones as a harmonious backdrop for living. Luxury means different things to different people. For us it’s about the quality of spaces, rather than scale: the details and craftsmanship, the light, the shadows. Every space should be a beautiful, uplifting moment.

We explore new technologies to effectively communicate our vision to clients and seek inspiration from both local and international designs, not for trends, but to incorporate timeless elements of style into each project.

Riverview House

Where modernism meets nature.

High above Sydney’s Pittwater, this epic ridge-top location and ambitious client brief demanded a special response. Combining two single dwellings allows this monumental house to stretch its wings, giving every room a view, filtered through eucalypts, bathed in light.

Molong House

Effortless calm. Sensuous curves.

In the Sydney coastal enclave of Curl Curl, a south-facing headland site offered opportunity and challenge in creating a casual resort feel, while capturing the northerly. Inside, crisp white walls accentuate timber ceilings and the sculptural staircase rising three levels, skylit from above.
